KiLEY's most popular eye lights and coin reflectors now come with some slightly different options.
This is a brass collection made from brass.
In fact, the idea of making these items out of brass has been around for several years.
Brass is a material whose color and texture change with use, and its appearance deepens over time.
On the other hand, eye lights are rechargeable lights, and the batteries inevitably have a limited lifespan.
"Materials that mature over time" and "battery products with a lifespan."
These contradictory characteristics just didn't mesh well, and we were unable to take the plunge and commercialize the product.
With this in mind, starting in 2025, we have been able to replace the batteries in some of our lights (compatible models: LM-016 / 017 / V2F).
Even if the battery reaches the end of its life in a few years, the light itself can still be used. With this premise in place, we decided that we could finally create a brass model.
The basic performance, such as brightness, runtime, and charging method, is the same as the regular aluminum model.
The structure and usability remain the same, only the materials are changed.
As a result, brass has a texture that is unique to brass and not found in aluminum, an appearance that changes the more you use it, and each piece has a different feel.

Due to the characteristics of the material, the weight is slightly heavier than the regular model.
The surface is not completely solid, but is intentionally coated with a thin anti-oxidation coating.
This is to prevent excessive oxidation from occurring between the time of production and the time it arrives at your door.
With normal use, the coating will naturally blend in within six months to a year, and then the brass will begin to gradually age.
It goes particularly well with metallic chromoly frames and bikes that use silver or gold parts.
It's not flashy, but if you look closely you can tell the difference.
The installation method for both the eye light and coin reflector remains the same as before.
KiLEY also offers small parts for installation, allowing you to install it according to your vehicle and purpose.

Brass is a material that requires a lot of care and management, and there are many constraints in terms of manufacturing processes and raw material costs. For this reason, this brass collection (LM-016 / 017 / 019) will be produced in limited quantities for this one-time only.
Regarding the sales schedule,
This model is limited to one lot, but will arrive in two batches.
The first shipment is scheduled for early February, and sales will begin early at our authorized retailers.
A second shipment is scheduled for late March, which will be sold as normal.
Due to limited quantities, there is a possibility that the product may be out of stock at some point.
To be honest, if you're just looking at functionality, the regular aluminum model is lighter and easier to handle, so it's not something I would recommend to everyone.
Still, why did you make it?
The reason is very simple: I think it's the creator's passion.
They change over time and no two are alike.
